Do you get enough of the sunshine vitamin?
D3 (=cholicalciferol) is the kind of vitamin D, which is formed when the UV beams from the sun hit the skin. To avoid lack of vitamin D it is advised to eat sufficient amounts of food, which naturally contains vitamin D, and at the same time make sure that the skin is exposed to sunlight to a sufficient degree.

Generally it is hard to get sufficient amounts of vitamin D or precursor to this through the diet alone. Furthermore, if you are mostly indoor, or more or less covered when you are outdoor or intentionally avoid the sun, then there is not formed enough vitamin D to cover even our basic needs. This is especially the case during the winter, where the effect of the sun is far too weak to activate the process.

The capsule is made out of ox gelatin.
